GLOBAL HEALTHCARE INTELLIGENCE NETWORK EXPANDS TO ASIA.

Skila, Inc., Mahwah, N,J., a provider of web-based business intelligence and real-time knowledge solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies, has announced the formation of Skila Japan, based in Tokyo. Skila's Global Healthcare Intelligence Platform(TM) enables these healthcare organizations to make better business decisions faster.

Skila Japan will contribute unique content to the Global Healthcare Intelligence Platform by securing partnerships with key healthcare players, communities of Japanese market experts and professionals, and other intelligence sources. Skila is the first U.S. healthcare e-knowledge company to incorporate Asian content.

Skila's aim is to satisfy the industry's needs for relevant global healthcare information and intelligence from the world's three major markets: North America, Europe, and Japan. As the rapid globalization of the healthcare market continues, Skila's broad perspective will provide its customers with a significant competitive intelligence advantage.

Comments Moish Tov, Skila Inc.'s chairman and CEO, "As the Internet accelerates the globalization of the healthcare market, Skila is strategically focused on providing a complete intelligence network for that market on a worldwide basis."

Information from the content providers in Japan will be integrated with other industry-specific information collected from thousands of public and private sources in the U.S. and Europe to become part of Skila's Global Healthcare Intelligence Platform(TM). Through Skila's "Intelligration process," this external intelligence is combined with each company's propriety data to generate market views of unsurpassed richness and depth. And, through its unique mentoring, consulting, and real time knowledge offerings, Skila assists with the process of transforming intelligence to knowledge. Thus Skila subscribers have at their fingertips a complete, organized, relevant and fresh view of the global healthcare market tailored to their organization's specific business needs and goals.

Skila's business intelligence solutions help customers maintain a competitive edge by providing an information hub that gives knowledge workers a complete picture of the segment of the healthcare market that is most relevant to them.
