GLM AWARDS GREENHORN BEST OF SHOW.

NEW YORK-Greenhorn Trading Co. won the Best of Show award during the 21st semiannual New York Home Textiles Show, which was held from April 12 to 15 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

The company's blanket, which is made from natural fiber and has spiral yarn-shaped traps that aim to create lightness and comfort, was named most creative and innovative.

George Little Management, the show's organizer, also gave awards for seven categories. Ikeuchi Towel/Japan won in the soft bath category for its organic cotton towels, while Taymor Industries' Tedd-E Bear Collection got the award for hard bath.

In the kitchen/table category, Chateau X won for its mah-jong tile placemats and Buddha-inspired napkin rings. B3 Design Solutions' digitally printed throw was honored in the soft home accessories category. For hard home accessories, the winner was the Brazilian Trade Bureau: Arte Expo for its cylindrical lamps made of PVC.

G.I.L. SAS won in the home apparel category for its microfiber robe, and Downtown Co.'s Lyocell blanket won in the bed category.

The finalists in the seven categories were Turf and Habidecor USA Inc. for soft bath; Lieberman & Associates for hard bath; Corona Decor and the Salt Box Accessories for the kitchen/table category; Bowron Sheepskin Co. and Ewest International for soft home accessories; Kim Seybert and W. C. Redmon for hard home accessories; Kenan Enterprises International Inc. and Marigot for home apparel; and Le Blanc Linen Wash and Arliktex Ltd. for bed.
