GLENN E. CAIN NAMED SUPERVISOR OF OPERATIONS AT LOUISIANA PLANT

 HOUSTON, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Glenn E. Cain has been named supervisor of operations at Star Enterprise's Louisiana Plant in Convent effective immediately.
 A 1975 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, S.C., with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering, Cain worked with Skelly Oil and Getty Oil from 1976 to 1984 as a process engineer and an instrumentation engineer.
 He joined Texaco in 1984 as a senior process engineer in the engineering department in Houston, and was promoted to senior project engineer in 1986.
 Cain transferred to Delaware City Plant as a staff instrumentation engineer in 1988. He was promoted to assistant supervisor of operations at Delaware City Plant upon the creation of Star Enterprise in 1989.
 At the time of his promotion to supervisor of operations at Louisiana Plant, Cain was supervisor of operations at Delaware City Plant, a position he has held since 1991.
 Star Enterprise is a joint venture between subsidiaries of Texaco Inc. and Saudi Aramco. The company refines and markets Texaco-branded products in 26 East and Gulf Coast states and the District of Columbia.
