GLASS IN NESCAFE.

Byline: RUKI SAYID

NESTL[ETH] is recalling jars of Nescaf because they could contain pieces of glass, the Food Standards Agency said.

The recall applies to 100g jars of the Nescaf Collections range, including Alta Rica, Alta Rica Decaff, Cap Colombie, Suraya and Espresso. All best-before dates and batch codes are affected. A Nescaf spokesman said: "We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or concern this may have caused and wish to reassure customers of our continued commitment to the highest standards of safety and quality."

Nestl said it would refund customers who had bought an affected product. No other Nestl or Nescaf products are affected.
