GIVET IN REFUSAL TO PLAY.

Byline: KEN GORMAN

SWANSEA CITY 3 BLACKBURN ROVERS 0

GAEL GIVET refused to play as Blackburn Rovers slid even closer to relegation after defeat at Swansea yesterday.

Under-pressure Rovers boss Steve Kean alleged: "I told Gael we needed him to play. He said he couldn't, saying 'Because my head's not right'.

"I can't get inside people's minds. I can only tell them how much we need them."

Givet, 30, has already said he wants to leave Ewood Park and his departure looks inevitable.

With just four games remaining, Rovers' plight is looking increasingly desperate.

Kean was jeered again by disguntled Blackburn fans.
