GIT Satellite Communications has confirmed that GIT Satellite Communications X-Track Asset Management System has met the requirements necessary to be designated as an Iridiumâ LBS Premium Portal Provider in connection with the Iridium Extreme satellite phone.

GIT Satellite Communications has launched the Iridium Approved-X-Track Location based system (LBS) using the Iridium Extremeâ satellite phone eco-system. It supports the Iridium Extreme's premium feature-set and its SOS button.

GIT X-Track LBS tracking system provides a complete tracking solution for any LBS tracking device in a mapping system viewable on any web-connected computer, communications tablet, and smart phones. It is fully compatible with the Iridium Extremeâ satellite phone and its functionality to provide precise location intelligence. The GIT X-Track LBS tracking system displays trackers' locations on an attractive, web-based cognitive mapping program.
