GFI LANguard Network Security Scanner 3.1 available now.
Content and network security software developer GFI has launched its LANguard Network Security Scanner 3.1.
The new version of the security scanner is designed to discover network vulnerabilities and present the information in a report. Also, GFI LANguard Network Security Scanner 3.1 provides information on any open shares/ports, active services or applications, the status of key registry entries, the presence of weak passwords and if a PC has been infected with a Trojan. Finally, the security scanner informs administrators on the status of the latest security patches and whether they have been installed on each PC in a network.
GFI LANguard Network Security Scanner 3.1 is free to noncommercial users or USD249 for 50 IPs to commercial users.
