GETTING IT OFF MY CHEST; What's been getting Birchy's goat this week.

NEXT week is all about Cheltenham. During those four days the horseracing is all-embracing. Nothing else in the world matters to punters. Not even greyhounds or football.

So it's highly regrettable that the pounds 12,500 Ladbrokes Puppy Derby at Monmore - a competition from which premier Classic winners Westmead Hawk, Kinda Ready and Bandicoot Tipoki recently graduated - takes place on Thursday night, eve of the Totesport Gold Cup.
