GETAWAY VACATIONS ANNOUNCES INCREASED EUROPE COMMISSIONS

GETAWAY VACATIONS ANNOUNCES INCREASED EUROPE COMMISSIONS
 MT. KISCO, N.Y., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- In a move, unprecedented

in the past, TWA Getaway Vacations today announced it is offering travel agents a base commission of 12.5 percent on all Europe escorted air and land inclusive vacations -- and up to 17.5 percent for 25-plus passengers.
Not only is Getaway offering agents 12.5 percent base commission, but its override commission policy is one of the most generous in the industry. Agents can earn up to 17.5 percent on air and land inclusive vacations -- retroactive to the first booking of the year.
The new commission structure is as follows:
Air and Land Inclusive Europe Escorted Vacation Commissions
 Passengers Commission Override Total
 1-15 10 percent plus 2.5 percent equals 12.5 percent
 16-24 10 percent plus 5 percent equals 15 percent
25 or more 10 percent plus 7.5 percent equals 17.5 percent
Getaway Vacations Land Tours using published air on TWA or other carriers:
 Land Only Europe Tour Commissions
 Passengers Commission Override Total
 1-15 10 percent plus 2.5 percent equals 12.5 percent
 16-24 10 percent plus 5 percent equals 15 percent
25 or more 10 percent plus 7.5 percent equals 17.5 percent
Agents are to take their normal 10 percent commission when submitting MCOs or checks and Getaway will send the appropriate override commission within 30 days of receipt of full payment.
Along with these increased commissions goes the reputation for quality and value which over two million passengers have enjoyed. All tours are backed by the Getaway Tour Warranty, ensuring that each tour element and service will be delivered as described in the brochure or agents' clients will receive a refund for that portion.
Getaway offers many other advantages. For instance, Getaway offers guaranteed prices once a low deposit of $75 is paid. It provides guaranteed transfers from all Getaway preferred flights, year round. And, in the unlikely event that Getaway has to cancel a tour within 60 days of departure, it offers a Departure Guarantee, giving agents' clients $50 towards another Getaway Tour.
Getaway has taken steps to make supporting Getaway Vacations a beneficial experience for travel agents and their clients alike. For reservations and information, call 1-800-GETAWAY.
