 ANNOUNCES ANNUAL GRAPHICS CONFERENCE
 Graphics '92 -- the 14th edition of the annual San Jose Mercury News Graphics Conference -- is slated for Friday through Sunday, May 8-10 at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown San Jose.
 An estimated 300 news professionals, including photographers, artists, graphics editors, copy editors, reporters and students, are expected to attend.
 Dubbed "Get Real -- a Hands-On Experience," Graphics '92 will address photography, illustration, page layout, and publication design with an eye on shrinking newsroom budgets.
 Among the presenters:

 Sessions will include a Macintosh Jam Session, a small newspapers panel and more.
