MAKE these cars out of old toilet rolls - you could even have races with them!

WHAT YOU NEED: Scissors/craft knife Hole puncher Glue Paint brush Toilet paper tubes (depending on how many you want to make) Paint Cardboard Paper for decorations/stickers (optional) Small prong fasteners WHAT TO DO: 1. Paint the tubes and, while they dry, do to the next step. 2. Draw circles on the cardboard for cars' wheels and draw smaller ones for steering wheels.

Remember, you need four times the number of wheels to the number of cars you want to make.

Don't forget to draw smaller ones - these will be the steering wheels. Cut them out and paint them. 3. When all the tubes are painted and dried you can cut openings for the front seatback with a craft knife (this is where adult help is advisable) then fold it over.

fun toilet cars You can also paint it and - to hold it in place - use a glue dot. Glue on the steering wheel on the opposite side of the opening.

4. Finally, attach the wheels using the prong fasteners so they still turn round and decorate the cars to make each one unique.
