 GEORGIA-PACIFIC ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY CURTAILMENTS AT SAWMILLS
 ATLANTA, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Georgia-Pacific Corp. (NYSE: GP) today announced that due to current market conditions, the company will curtail production at 16 Southern pine sawmills, and will close temporarily two of its Southern pine stud mills.
 The closures at stud mills in Russellville, S.C., and Fayette, Ala., along with reduced operating schedules at 16 Eastern sawmills are effective Monday, June 15, 1992.
 "We need to curtail production so that we can get our inventories in line with current demand," said Willie L. Duke, group vice president - softwood lumber.
