GENERAL P.X. KELLEY ELECTED TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS AT UST

 GREENWICH, Conn., Nov. 19 ~PRNewswire~ -- General P.X. Kelley, a former commandant of the Marine Corps and member of The Joint Chiefs of Staff, has been elected to the board of directors of UST effective Dec. 1, 1992. The announcement was made at UST's board of directors meeting held late yesterday.
 General Kelley currently serves as a vice-chairman of Cassidy & Associates, a Washington government relations firm. In December 1979, he was appointed by the president of the United States as the first commander of the Rapid Deployment Joint Task Force, which subsequently became the U.S. Central Command.
 General Kelley is the recipient of a host of awards and decorations, including Distinguished Service Medals from the Department of Defense, The Department of the Navy, the Department of the Army and the Department of the Air Force. He has also received the Silver Star and Bronze Star, and has been awarded the Legion of Merit three times.
 General Kelley received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Villanova University and is a Distinguished Graduate of the Air War College.
