 GENERAL DYNAMICS NAMES CHOPP, SALKY AND WOOLLEY
 CORPORATE VICE PRESIDENTS
 FALLS CHURCH, Va., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- General Dynamics Corporation (NYSE: GD) today announced the promotion of three of its headquarters executives to corporate vice presidents. George J. Chopp becomes corporate vice president-employee relations, Molly R. Salky becomes corporate vice president-investor relations, and Mark S. Woolley becomes corporate vice president-strategic planning.
 Commenting on the promotions, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer William A. Anders said, "As we streamline our headquarters staff to increasingly focus on such principal corporate roles as policy oversight, investor interaction and general strategic guidance, it is appropriate that these executives assume the additional authority and responsibility of corporate officers."
 Chopp, 63, joined the company in 1966 and was previously staff vice president-employee relations. Salky, 34, joined the company in 1983 and was previously corporate director-investor relations. Woolley, 37, joined the company in 1990 and was previously staff vice president-strategic analysis.
