GENERAL COMPUTER ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT WITH WAL-MART TO PROVIDE ELECTRONIC DATA INTERCHANGE SERVICE

 TWINSBURG, Ohio, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- General Computer Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: GCCC) today announced that it has signed a non- exclusive agreement with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE: WMT) to provide electronic interchange service in the processing of prescription claims for third party reimbursement. In its capacity, GCC will process prescription claims from the 1,700 Wal-Mart pharmacies to the various payors throughout the country and will also serve as a host processor for Wal-Mart sponsored prescription drug reimbursment programs as they are instituted.
 Commenting on the agreement, Richard R. Pilarczyk, president and chief executive officer, stated, "It is indeed an honor to be selected to provide these services to Wal-Mart pharmacies."
