GEM INTERNATIONAL NETWORK TO INTRODUCE GLOBAL GEM MARKET SYSTEM
BOULDER, Colo., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Citing the need for technology that can capture and manage precious gems, Gem International Network Inc. (GINI) will introduce a revolutionary automated networking system at a symposium in New York City on Sunday, Jan. 19 at the Waldorf-Astoria. For the first time in history, buyers and sellers of precious gems can view various aspects of a gem anywhere in the world as though the gem were in their inventory.
The new system provides the gem's characteristics of carat size, color, cut, clarity, species, price, etc. and a microscopic resolution image of the gem.
"In adherence with GIA (Geological Institute of America) standards, our objective is to provide clients and subscribers with credible information and high resolution images of gems currently available on the international market," said Suranjith Gunasekara G.G., president of GINI. "This provides merchants with many benefits that make their businesses more efficient, including practical inventory control, enhanced communications abilities between merchants and increased inventory availability."
The announcement and subsequent demonstration of the new system, will take place in New York City at the Waldorf-Astoria, Hilton Room, 301 Park Ave. A press conference will be held from 5-6 p.m. for the media, followed by an interactive symposium with several of the nation's leading diamond merchants.
Based in Boulder, Gem International Network Inc., is committed to global communications.
