GEM INTERNATIONAL NETWORK INTRODUCES NETWORKING SYSTEM AT A PRESS CONFERENCE AND SUBSEQUENT SYMPOSIUM

GEM INTERNATIONAL NETWORK INTRODUCES NETWORKING SYSTEM
AT A PRESS CONFERENCE AND SUBSEQUENT SYMPOSIUM
WHO: Gem International Network Inc. (GINI), a Boulder,
Colorado-based company committed to global communications.
WHAT: GINI will introduce a revolutionary, automated networking
system at a press conference and subsequent symposium with
200 of the nation's leading diamond merchants. Key points
 about the announcement include:
-- New automated system unveiled that will revolutionize the
way precious gems are bought and sold.
-- Allows jewelers and consumers to see true-to-life,
microscopic resolution images of diamonds and other gems
anywhere in the world instantaneously without having the
 stone in inventory.
-- Unknowledgeable consumers that want to purchase a diamond
or precious gem will have the security of knowing that what
they "see" on the screen will be what they receive.
-- The system brings legitimacy, credibility and efficiency to
an industry with a tarnished image.
-- Technology (fiber optic & extreme-resolution graphics) was
not available or cost-effective until recently.
-- The diamond/gem industry is one of the last to become
automated. Current methods are inefficient for the
 jeweler/merchant. Automation provides better inventory
control and credibility for the jeweler, while providing
the consumer confidence that they are receiving value.
WHEN: The press conference will be at 5 p.m. on Sunday,
Jan. 19. Symposium will follow at 6 p.m.
WHERE: In the Hilton Room of the Waldorf-Astoria, 301 Park Avenue,
 New York City.
RSVP: Seating is limited. RSVP by Friday, Jan. 17, 1992 to:
