GDP of SCO member states account for over 20% of global GDP.
SCO countries' GDP account for over 20% of the global level or amount to 15 trillion US dollars, our economies grow by 3%, said Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Business Forum.
The SCO countries are aimed at sustainable economy, entrepreneurship, tourism, energy and modern technology, he said.
Government of Kyrgyzstan initiated holding of the SCO business forum back in October 2018 at the 17th SCO summit, he said.
"Now Kyrgyzstan received the SCO chairmanship. The forum is being held to give an opportunity for participants to share their ideas and possibilities for implementation of joint projects," he said.
He added that India and Pakistan made a historic decision to become the SCO members. For Kyrgyzstan, it's new broader markets for sale, as the SCO population is more than 300 million.
