 GAS PRICES ARE UP 1 CENT
 SAN FRANCISCO, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Gasoline prices have risen


1 cent per gallon since June, according to the latest California State Automobile Association (CSAA) survey of 600 gas retailers in northern and central California and throughout Nevada.
 "July retail prices for unleaded self-service gasoline average $1.30 per gallon," reported Nancy Solomon, CSAA spokesperson. "California wholesale gas prices have risen 2.4 percent since June," she said.
 CSAA's June report of retail gas prices noted a 6 cent increase from May.
 California gasoline supplies, production and demand have all stabilized, according to Mike Doyle of Computer Petroleum Corp.

 Unleaded: Regular $ 1.57 - .002 cents
 Mid-grade $ 1.65 + .005 cents
 Premium $ 1.71 --
 Diesel $ 1.51 + .006 cents
 "We urge motorists to shop around for the best retail gasoline prices," Solomon advised. "Our July survey shows that gas prices vary by up to 33 cents per gallon," she added.
 CSAA is the AAA-affiliated auto club providing motoring consumer services to more than 3 million members in California and Nevada.
