GAS COMPANY, EDISON AND GTE TO OPEN FIRE VICTIM ASSISTANCE CENTER IN MALIBU TOMORROW

 LOS ANGELES, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Gas Company, Southern California Edison and GTE are opening a utility information center in Malibu on Saturday, Nov. 6, to provide assistance to fire victims on matters related to gas, electric and phone service. This includes answering questions about service restoration, billing and safety.
 The center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Nov. 19 at the Malibu Sheriff's Substation, located at 23555 Civic Center Way.
 The Gas Company and Edison have announced they are waiving gas and electric bills for customers whose homes have been destroyed by the fires.
