GAMES AND INTERNET: GAME NEWS.

Byline: David Hancock

There's a new PlayStation 2 soccer game in the dressing room waiting to march out on to the pitch later this year. It measures overall performance of the 40 international sides featured by giving a separate score for each section of your team - attack, midfield and defence/goalkeeper. It was called Greatest Striker when released in Japan at the end of last year, but publishers EON Digital Entertainment are thinking about changing the name for its UK outing.

PC racers will soon be off the grid with Sega GT, a driving game which boasts 130 authentic sports cars and a Car Workshop where you can cruise over and design your own motor from the ground up.

Japan's chart-topper Onimusha: Warlords is battling its way to Britain for the summer. The epic saga of 16th century Japan on the PlayStation 2 boasts film quality production and an orchestra!
