GAMEPRO CUSTOM PUBLISHING ANNOUNCES STREET FIGHTER II STRATEGY GUIDE

 REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 17 ~PRNewswire~ -- In response to the phenomenal success of the Street Fighter II(TM) video arcade game, GamePro Custom Publishing has announced the creation of a strategy guide for the Super Nintendo and arcade game versions of this successful title.
 The new book, entitled "The Official Capcom Street Fighter II Strategy Guide," was written by the editors of GamePro magazine. It features over 160 pages, with more than 2,000 four-color screen shots offering readers tips, tactics, strategies and secret codes to master the hottest video game on the market.
 "We've worked closely with the experts at Capcom USA to make sure that this is the definitive guide for Street Fighter II," says LeeAnne McDermott, editor-in-chief of GamePro magazine and one of the book's authors.
 "The game is a phenomenon because it challenges the player and is extraordinarily difficult to master," adds John Rousseau, publisher. "It came about after the incredible response GamePro received from publishing a series of strategy inserts for Street Fighter II. This strategy guide is a natural project for GamePro and is the first of many ventures for GamePro Custom Publishing."
 The book has been officially sanctioned by Capcom USA, manufacturer of the popular game. "Capcom is pleased to join forces with GamePro, a recognized leader in electronic entertainment publishing," stated Joe Morici, senior vice president of Capcom. "'The Official Capcom Street Fighter II Strategy Guide' is certain to provide readers with the ultimate source of information on the nation's most popular video game series."
 Available the week of November 16th, it will retail for $9.95 and can be found at national retail locations.
