Don't miss the opportunity to dive back in - you'll laugh out loud, loot to your heart's content and realise that you're more than willing to go back and do it all again. F1 2012 PS3, PS37.99 THE excitement felt ahead of the annual release of the latest F1 game can often be tempered by a worry that it won't quite reach the dizzy heights of the previous release, and feel more like a yearly grab for cash from racing enthusiasts than a genuine advancement of the franchise and genre as a whole. But relax into your driver's cockpit, F1 2012 is brilliant game, building on the detail, sophistication and sheer speed of previous iterations to deliver the ultimate race experience. This is a game that rewards those players who are willing to put in the hours of training and tactical tweaking. This is right from the off, too, as the Young Driver Test takes you through all elements of the controls for the best part of an hour out in Abu Dhabi. It's a great refresher for seasoned pros and absolutely essential for beginners. This is an F1 fan's dream - the most authentic racing title money can buy. LITTLEBIGPLANET PS Vita, PS28.99 THE LITTLEBIGPLANET series has been slinging Sackboy and his pals around self-constructed platforming playspaces for a few years now, but this PS Vita release has thrown fans of the games into a frenzy, as the handheld device's unique touch control system fuses with the amazing fantasy world for the first time.

And it's an absolute joy to behold. The intricate and intuitive touch controls enhance every level build and bring boss fights to your fingertips, such is the incredibly responsive nature of how your small actions create brilliant reactions on screen. It's another triumph for Sackboy, and a genuine console quality adventure in the palm of your hand. WONDERPUTT iPad, 69p WONDERPUTT is a prime example of how art and design can ingeniously dictate proceedings in gaming. You're initially presented with what appears to be a beautiful title screen for Wonderputt, but quickly discover this is actually a Heath Robinson-inspired full 18-hole crazy golf course that will astound you with its awesome animations, ingenious hole creation and perfectly pitched level of difficulty to keep you coming back for more. Complete your first round, and you'll need to go back and collect four rainbow bursts on each hole for your second attempt. Crazy golf has always been a brilliant way to shake off the drudgery of daily life? Have around or two here and you'll see what I mean. ?????C BUMP iPhone, 69p AAARGH, little aliens have run out of juice and crashed to Earth! How are you going to help them? Well, in Cosmic Bump you've got to pop the little critters into a cannon and fire them into each stage to collect all the energy cells scattered throughout. A host of flippers, fans and portals are positioned around the many levels to aid your progress, but they'll also present you with some tactical headaches along the way. In true Chillingo style, the developer has managed to combine cutesy graphics with a cracking puzzle challenge. There are six environment chapters to work through, with many levels in each, so plenty to keep you amused for hours on end. Excellent iPhone eye-candy.
