GAIL FORCE: Diets.

Byline: GAIL SHERIDAN

EVER since I was about 18 I've always watched my diet. Especially working for an airline where you are on show all day and always having to be presentable.

Over the years my air hostess colleagues and I have probably tried every diet known to woman. Most of you reading this know what I mean by that.

The soup diet, the Cambridge diet, Just-a-Low-Fat diet, not eating after six diet, Atkins diet, slimming drinks, slimming pills, slimming world, Rosemary Conley, Scottish Slimmers and also, of course, Weight Watchers. The most successful diets of them all of course are the meeting the new man diet or the having a wee sleekit bit on the side diet.

That's because they never have time to eat, so I'm told.

Anyway I'm now experiencing another diet.

It's called the running-about-after-a- new-baby diet.

And not-knowing-whether-it's-New- Year-or-New-York diet.

I've been told that I look pretty much back to normal.

I am still going back to my slimming class next week, though - to cast off a few more pounds.

I'll no doubt be dieting until my 80s. God willing!
