GAC announces free A/C check-up for Mitsubishi, Fuso vehicles.
General Automotive Company (GAC), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Oman, recently launched a twoA[degrees] month free airA[degrees]conditioning checkA[degrees]up campaign for all Mitsubishi and Fuso vehicle owners in Oman. The compliA[degrees] mentary service campaign will continue till July 4, a press release said.
Commenting on the importance of maintaining the vehiA[degrees] cle airA[degrees]conditioner in good working order, Rajesh Sharma, national marketing manager of GAC, said, "In a country like Oman and with summer nearing its hottest period, the A/C in your vehicle is just as important as the A/C at home. What some may not realise is that the A/C system in a vehicle does not simply blow cold air in; it is actually designed to also remove hot air from within the vehicle cabin and dispel it to atmosphere outside. As a result, it is a complex system that relies on a number of components to operate efficiently.
"While A/C repairs can range from simple cleaning to a more complex mechanical procedure, it is vital to take care of any minor concerns as early as possible to avoid any seriA[degrees] ous problems and an expensive fix in the future. With our free A/C check we can detect these problems early and free of charge while the discounts on offer make fixing them all the more affordable." The complimentary checkA[degrees]up includes diagnostics and general checks and will also suggest remeA[degrees] dial measures -- if required, to achieve optimum performA[degrees] ance and comfort temperature. The service centre is also offering discounts of up to 45 per cent on all A/C related parts and 35 per cent on labour during the campaign.
