Morningside Farmers Market
1397 N. Highland Avenue, NE, Atlanta, in the parking lot
next to Indigo Coastal Grill
Saturdays, 8-11:30 am, thru Christmas, weather permitting

Wide variety of just-picked locally grown organic vegetables,
herbs, fruits, and flowers. Weekly cooking demonstrations
by local chefs from Atlanta s premier restaurants
feature seasonal produce from the market. Handmade
soaps, herbal products, potted plants and local crafts,
including furniture and pottery, are also offered for sale.
Blueberry Festival: June 29--pancake breakfast (with blueberry
pancakes, of course!) and a cooking demonstration
highlighting blueberries.
Tomato Festival: July 20--opportunity to sample and celebrate
the many varieties, shapes, sizes and colors of delicious
vine-ripened tomatoes.
Harvest Festival: October--showcases autumn s bountiful
harvest, including pumpkins, winter squashes, carrots, fall
greens, sweet potatoes and Jerusalem artichokes.

Simply Home Grown Market
Saturday mornings, starting June 1, 2002 continuing
through the growing season, opening time has yet to be

Organic Farmer s Market
Sponsored by the Dunwoody Nature Center, Dunwoody,
Georgia First and Third Tuesdays each month from 8:30
a.m. till 12 Noon.
At the ball field south of the Nature Center on Roberts
Drive. Come learn more about the importance of organic
practices to you, your family and our environment.
Then choose from a bounty of organic vegetables, fruits
and fresh-cut flowers grown by local farmers. Membership
makes you a valuable supporter of environmental education
and your community nature center.
In need of volunteers to help with setup of market. For further

Cotton Mill Farmers Market
Saturday, 8am-12 noon, now thru October
Carrollton, Georgia, Bradley Street, downtown district,
across from City Hall.
Currently 24 vendors, more as the season progresses.
The market will offer a variety of different things; veggies,
eggs, honey, bread, poultry, fruits, flowers, grass feed
beef, lamb, shade grown coffee, plants, soaps, furniture,
art, worm castings etc. We have been very pleased with
the response with the market.
