Fylde 20 Nottingham 18.

NOTTINGHAM took a step closer to relegation from Jewson One when they were narrowly beaten at Fylde.

Fylde's Nick Booth and Richard Bygrave, of Nottingham, exchanged penalties before flanker Dan Charteris touched down the first of his two tries and Booth kicked a penalty to give an 8-6 half-time lead to the visitors.

After the break David Wiseman scored a try for the hosts before Bygrave kicked his second penalty. Booth then kicked two penalties and Wiseman hit a drop goal.

Charteris dived over for his second try, which Sam Jack converted, but the comeback proved to be too late.
