Future looking greener.

ENVIRONMENTAL improvements are under way on Middlesbrough's Riverside Industrial Park and East Middlesbrough industrial estate.

Middlesbrough Council, in partnership with Groundwork North East, has developed a landscape improvement scheme. A wide range of works is being carried out, including new paving, tree and shrub planting, fencing and artwork, to help attract new businesses into the area.

Dave Budd, Middlesbrough Executive councillor for regeneration and economic development, said: "The town's business community is rightly regarded as the engine room of Middlesbrough's on-going regeneration.

That's why it's vital that we create an environment which helps existing businesses to flourish and grow."
