Fusing safety & scent control.
Robinson--Outdoor Products is elevating its game to the next level in 2013 with the all-new SpiderWeb--a "sport bib" that combines cuffing-edge scent-elimination technology with arguably the industry's most convenient treestand safety solution. The end result is a product that gives bowhunters the concealment they need to get close and the security they need to make shots with confidence. The full-season SpiderWeb Outfitter boasts ScentBlocker's brand new Trinity synthetic scent-control technology, which in independent laboratory tests adsorbed 40 percent more odor than activated carbon and 200 percent more than zeolite. Trinity is an engineered, polymeric resin that lasts longer and is easier to regenerate than activated carbon while also exhibiting a stronger attraction to organic odors. Further, Trinity is much less bulky than carbon, which makes the new ScentBlocker garments lighter and more comfortable than ever before. Along with Trinity, the Spider-Web Outfitter features the company's exclusive RainBlocker and WindBlocker technologies, along with an integrated Tree Spider safety system that is literally part of the garment. So, there's no need to worry about having a separate safety harness, because when you put the SpiderWeb on, you're already wearing one. There are no additional straps or buckles to worry about The SpiderWeb Outfitter provided for testing weighed four pounds, which is comparable to stand-alone harnesses that don't offer nearly the same level of convenience. The SpiderWeb's harness is hidden between layers of fabric. The bungee tether comes directly off the back of the shoulder panel, providing flexibility on stand and shock absorption in the event of a fall. The tether can also easily be removed if you're hunting on the ground and don't need it. Climbing loops and the included suspension relief strap are also tucked away inside snap closures when not in use.
