Furon Names R. Craig Crossley Vice President, Industrial Equipment.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 1997--Furon Company (NYSE:FCY) Thursday announced it has named R. Craig Crossley to fill the position of vice president of its Industrial Equipment Strategic Industrial Unit.

In this role Crossley will be responsible for the operation, sales and customer relations of the companies' broadest ranging business unit.

Terry Noonan, Furon president and chief operating officer said, "Craig affords Furon both sales and marketing experience in dealing with the far ranging diversities of our customers in this market segment." He went on to say, "With an accelerated thrust in our European business Craig's acumen in the global marketplace will prove a valuable asset."

Crossley previously was sales and marketing director for Eaton Corporation's Aerospace Controls Division. In that role he was responsible for business development, oversight of a regional salesforce and administered the direction for independent representatives and distributors. With Eaton since 1978, he has held various operations and sales management positions as well as an eight-year stint with their European Aerospace and Commercial Controls Division.
