Fundraisersget fired up.

Fairbridge De Cymru is looking for people willing to bare the soles of their feet in the name of charity. The fiery fundraiser takes place at the Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff Bay, today, and already 37 participants, including Red Dragon DJ Russ Morris, have signed up.

However, Fairbridge, which helps young people in South East Wales find education or employment, hopes to get more people fired up.

Registration for the event, which includes two hours of training, starts at 6.15pm with the walk beginning at 8.45pm.

A minimum pounds 100 donation is needed to take part and all firewalkers will be given a buffet and certificate of achievement.

For more information about the event, supported by The Monmouthshire Building Society, contact Mary Eastmond, at Fairbridge De Cymru, on 029 2030 3910.
