Oasis centre des femmes, Toronto: Program for prevention and raising awareness about violence against Francophone women aged 65 and older, to raise awareness among all members of the Francophone community about the problems of violence against older women and among people who work in organizations that provide assistance for the elderly, by training workers at the Oasis centre, Organizing prevention workshops for women aged 65 and older, and publishing a pamphlet. $25,000

Centre francophone d'aide et de lutte contre les aggressions a caractere sexuel CALACS, Ottawa: "Prevention and raising awareness about sexual assault among teenage girls and boys in the Ottawa's high schools." The purpose of this project is to develop a partnership with Ottawa region high schools and to set up a series of workshops and meetings to raise the awareness of teenage boys and girls about sexual assault. $19,500

Centre ontarien de prevention des aggressions COPA), Toronto: "Guidance document." The purpose of this project is to complete and distribute a series of three guide manuals that provide a summary of key issues on current, controversial topics: girls and intimidation, violence prevention educa-on and feminism. $16,000

Ontario Council of Alternative Businesses. To enable Ontarians with psychiatric disabilities to attend a conference in York region aimed at promoting small businesses, managed and operated by people affected by psychiatric conditions. $75,000 over one year.

Simcoe County Association for the Physically Disabled. To support public awareness programs and to enhance services to people with physical disabilities in Simcoe County. $131,000 over three years.

Le Villageois de Lafontaine. To investigate the feasibility of developing a housing complex that will include a multi-use community centre in the village of Lafontaine to improve the quality of life of residents. $24,000 over six months.

Wendat Community Psychiatric Support Programs. To increase opportunities for people with mental illness by renovating a community facility in Midland and carrying out activities to promote public understanding. $120,000 over three years.

Canadian Transplant Association. To host in London the 2005 World Transplant Games that involve 2,000 transplant recipient athletes, coaches, family members, supporters and athletes committed to removing barriers to organ donation. $60,000 over 18 months.

Nimkee NupoGawan Healing Centre Inc. To help renovate this First Nations centre located in Muncey, in order to improve residents' quality of life and increase the use of the ceremonial lodge. $20,300 over one year.

Skills Camp c/o East London United Church Outreach Cluster. To expand a unique four-week summer camp experience for children who live in public housing complexes. $11,900 over one year.

Strathroy Economy Shop. To purchase a cube van that will assist in the pick-up and delivery of clothing and furniture. $25,000

Call-A-Service Inc. To purchase and maintain a vehicle to provide transportation and enable seniors and people with disabilities in East York to access social services and recreational programs. $25,000

Filmworks Intiative c/o Tropicana Community Services Organization of Scarborough. For a collaborative initiative with Toronto Filmworks and The Canadian Film Centre to provide youth with training and volunteer experience preparing them for employment in the industry. $210,400 over three years.

For You Telecare Family Service Inc. To provide volunteer training and development in order to enhance telephone counselling and support services to individuals and families in need. $60,000 over two years.

The Hannon-Shields Centre for Leadership and Peace. To provide administrative support that will ensure the continued growth of the Children's Peace Theatre Program. $195,000 over three years.

Harmony Place Support Services. To purchase a wheelchair accessible bus enabling adults with physical and developmental disabilities to get to outside appointments and participate in social and recreational activities. $75,800

Hassle Free Clinic. To make renovations to this community facility, including installing a lift that will make services accessible to people with limited mobility. $62,300

Hong Fook Mental Health Association. To expand its volunteer program, enhance services and build community capacity in order to better serve Torontonians who speak Cambodian, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Korean and Vietnamese. $219,000 over three years.

Hope for Children Foundation. To install air conditioning units in nine Toronto foster care facilities serving children and young adolescents. $100,000 over 10 months.

Margaret M. Allemang Centre for the History of Nursing. To archive and catalogue the holdings of the centre in order to make the information more accessible to the public. $6,100
