Fun run challenge.

OVER 200 runners took part in a fun run on Tyneside.

Sunday's 5k Big Fun Run R Newcastle at the Town Moor saw people running for charity, running for fitness and running for fun. Big Fun Run director, R Neil Kilgour said: "The Big Fun Run is strictly for fun is strictly for fun. R and all about easy, relaxed exercise. It didn't matter how quickly or slowly our participants went. They ran, jogged, juggled, dressed up, took a buggy.

"There was no pressure, just some easy moves and a lot of laughs.

"The Big Fun Run is all is all R about taking part and enjoying the day.

"The event isn't timed so what's motivating Big Fun runners is the chance to get together with family or friends and do something healthy in the great outdoors.
