Fun events for horses and dogs.

A POTATO race, fancy dress and musical buckets will be part of a fun horse show to raise cash for the RSPCA.

A range of light hearted events for horses and their riders will be held at Tyrnog livery, Y Wern, Llandyrnog, on Sunday starting 11am.

It's followed at 1pm by jumping competitions for young riders and novices. Proceeds will go towards RSPCA inspector Kia Thomas' aim of raising pounds 4,000 on a trip to Mount Kilimanjaro this year. Details: Lucy, loooey@hotmail.com.

. ? A FUN dog show is being organised by the north east Wales branch of the British Horse Society on Saturday.

It's at Pennant Uchaf, Rhuallt, starting at 1pm (entries from 12 noon).
