Fun and funds at spring fair.

Lots of fun was had - and money raised - at Cambusbarron Primary School spring fair on Saturday.

The event netted almost PS1400 for school projects.

A new feature this year was the ice cream and slushy stall, along with all the usual favourites including the hens from Egglicous Eggs.

There was also a plant sale thanks to Homesteads Nursery, funky photo booth, wet sponge throwing, bouncy castle, splat the rat, hook a duck, coconut shy, refreshments, lucky dip, home baking, ice cream and slushies, and toys and books.

Laura Cornwallis, of the Fund Raising and Events Group of Cambusbarron Primary and Nursery School (FREG), said:"It was a wonderful day made perfect by the fantastic weather.

"The atmosphere was amazing and it was a great social day with many families able to catch up over a cuppa.

"The fair raised an amazing PS1,370 much needed funds for our grounds and daily K track project.

"It would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the FREG team and the support of the families and friends of Cambusbarron Primary and Nursery School."
