Since the opening of dcs plus Middle East & Africa regional office, we have directed our initiatives towards building our brand equity and increasing our awareness through close collaboration with partners and customers, active participation at relevant travel technology events within the region and through roadshows organised together with key players within the travel industry.
2018 was the year for consolidating our local sales and pre-sales team while conducting an in-depth analysis of the travel market so we could appropriately adapt our technology updates to match customers' needs.
As a result of these ongoing efforts, dcs plus Middle East & Africa regional office saw a huge jump in signing new partnerships with some of the major regional players. The successful technology implementations that followed have contributed to dcs plus earning the reputation as a brand our customers can trust.
We strongly believe that in 2019 dcs plus brand will start dominating the regional travel market. This belief is supported by our constant drive and relentlessness in bringing tangible added value to our customers. Through our solutions, we are helping them improve their efficiency through technology enhancements designed to automate travel operations and provide instant access to the best available options. And we don't stop here. We go beyond just signing a business agreement with our customers and invest in building a relationship by getting to know them and understand the challenges they are facing so we can personalise our approach.
We are also exploring the possibility of entering new markets such as Oman and Bahrein, while consolidating our established presence by adding to our portfolio some key players from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and Kuwait.
We will continue to build and strengthen the strategic alliances with various suppliers to provide solutions that would appeal to the requirements and specific demands of the individual local markets. Our agreement programmes are constantly expanding to cover strategic airlines, GDS distribution providers and many hotel consolidators within the region.
Although dcs plus differentiates through the end-to-end enterprise solution covering the entire travel workflow, we are also adapting to the local travel agencies needs by marketing the core products independently or by offering a variety of combinations to better service them and close the gap in their operational flow.
And since ATM Dubai holds a big place in our hearts, it is marked among the major events in our calendar for 2019. dcs plus will be there again, for the seventh consecutive year, to meet the needs of the most demanding travel players in the region.
