Fujitsu Magneto-Optical Storage Solution To Be Offered On SGI's NT-based Visual Workstations.

The Silicon Graphics 320 and 540 Visual Workstations Now Available

with Fujitsu's 640MB ATAPI Internal Magneto-Optical Drive

Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., today announced availability of its 640MB, 4300RPM ATAPI internal magneto-optical (MO) drive as an option with the Silicon Graphics 320 and the Silicon Graphics 540 visual workstations.

The MO640AP, which belongs t needs of its users with sustained data transfe30 MB and 128 MB, make Fujitsu's 640MB magneto-mily of visual workstations. Offering dual-capable Intel(R) Pentium(R) II/Pentium III processors, full Windows NT(R) application compatibility, 2D and 3D graphics acceleaphics, professional digital video and multimedia capabilities, Intel Pentium III XeonTM four-processor scalability, and extensive expansion capacity. It is the first workstation to couple high-end visual computing with mainstream compatibility and pricing.
