Fuji Film Launches Trial Marketing of New 'Honeycomb Film'.

Tokyo, Japan, Feb 27, 2007 - (JCN) - Fuji Film Corporation announced the development and trial marketing of its new 'Honeycomb Film,' which is a thin film with microscopic pores aligned in a honeycomb structure.

In conjunction with Hokkaido University's research group, Fuji Film created a new process that can produce film sheets as large as an A4 size paper.

Fuji Film expects the new film to be used for the prevention of surgical adhesion diseases or for use in regeneration medicine.

This new film was showcased at the Nano Bio Expo 2007, Tokyo Big Sight, from February 21 - 23. The trial marketing will start in April.
