Fuji Electric Corp of America (FEA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuji Electric Co Ltd (TYO: 6504), announced on Monday the appointment of Darrell Hoffman as president of Reliable Turbine Services (RTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of FEA.

RTS is a service provider for field services, repairs and manufacturing of turbine generator equipment and parts. FEA acquired RTS in August 2015 to help broaden its existing service offerings, while expanding RTS' engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

In his new role, Hoffman, who has over 20 years of experience in operations and field services, will oversee RTS' expansion efforts as it seeks new opportunities in the Americas and select markets throughout the world.

Most recently, Hoffman served as chief operating officer of Orbital Energy Services. Prior to that, he founded the Construction & Field Services division for Toshiba International Corporation, where he spent more than eight years. Before that, he has worked for industry leaders such as Alstom and Dresser-Rand.

Fuji Electric Corp of America is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuji Electric Co Ltd (TYO:6504), a provider of industrial products ranging from semiconductors, HMIs, contactors, relays and power generation equipment to AC drives and uninterruptible power supply systems.
