Frontier Airlines to open new maintenance facility in Kansas.

Frontier Airlines will reportedly establish a new maintenance facility at Kansas City International Airport.

The new facility in Missouri will employ 12 mechanics including two avionics technicians, two lead mechanics, seven mechanics and one supervisor. The facility is expected to become operational on 1 April 2004, offering support to the airline's flights from the airport.

The new operation is the carrier's third maintenance facility, with the other two located in Denver and Phoenix.
