Frontier Airlines Holdings reports loss for fiscal year and fourth quarter.


Frontier Airlines Holdings Inc (Nasdaq: FRNT) has reported its results for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2007.

The airline reported a net loss of USD20.4m for the 12-month period, compared to a net loss of USD14.0m for the previous year.

Included in the net loss for the latest fiscal year was a non-cash valuation allowance on net deferred tax assets of USD4.0m, offset by a non-cash mark to market fuel derivative gain which decreased pre-tax fuel expense by USD12.8m, and also USD0.7m in pre-tax gains relating to the sale of Boeing parts held for sale.

For the fiscal fourth quarter ended 31 March 2007 the airline reported a net loss of USD10.4m, an increase from the net loss of USD7.9m for the same period last year.
