From the Periodicals Director.
Volume 22, Number 4, of Communication Disorders Quarterly marks the close of Dr. Alejandro Brice's tenure as the journal's editor. Dr. Brice was instrumental in the transfer of CDQ, then titled Journal of Children's Communication Development, to PRO-ED from the Division for Children's Communication Development. He also accepted the daunting challenge of increasing the frequency of CDQ's publication from twice a year to quarterly, thus providing you, the reader, with more timely reports and research findings.
The time required to edit a journal such as CDQ is considerable, so it is understandable that after 5 years Dr. Brice wishes to resign to devote more time to other professional interests. I wish Dr. Brice well in his future professional endeavors; I am confident that his research and writing will be found in upcoming issues of CDQ.
