From market to brick and mortar.

Traveling markets in Atlanta, Las Vegas and New York have seen Arkansas native Ashley Childers showcase her home furnishings line, Emporium Home.

In September, Childers will bring her work to the Natural State on a larger scale, opening her first retail store at the former 2,200-SF Heights Gallery location on Kavanaugh Boulevard in Little Rock.

Arkansas Business reported in May that the property at 5801 Kavanaugh Blvd. sold to Onkav LLC, led by Gary Childers, for $545,000.

Emporium Home is based in Little Rock and was named a rising star at the 25th Annual Dallas Market Center Arts Awards earlier this year. The retail store will operate using her line's brand name.

Childers' furnishing line includes a mix of lighting, mirrors, art and furniture.
