From Tony Moran. (Letters to the Editor).
In your "comment" you conveniently leave out many important items of information. First of all he has proven, by quoting various codes of Canon Law, that the "suspension" is invalid. Also, he was instructed to find another bishop who would incardinate him, which he did--the Archbishop of Hyderabad, who is allowing and encouraging Fr. Gruner to continue his apostolate.
You believe that the consecration was done as Our Lady requested in 1984, so why did Pope John Paul II at the end add "enlighten especially the peoples whose consecration and entrustment by us you are awaiting?" The entire consecration including these words by the Pope was reported in L'Osservatore Romano, in Italian and English editions, shortly afterwards. Later that same day he repeated these words in front of a large crowd.
The 1982 and 1984 consecrations were "of the world." Russia, which Our Lady specially asked for, was not mentioned. In a September 1985 interview for another magazine, Sister Lucia said, "There was no participation of all the bishops and there was no mention of Russia." It seems to me you didn't read pages 16 and 17 of issue 68 of the Fatima Crusader. Also, I'm sure that all the priests, cardinals, bishops, and archbishops who agree with Fr. Gruner are not just relying on what he said; rather they will have done their own research. If you haven't already done so, I suggest you read the several books by Fr. Michel de la Sainte Trinite, on the subject of the consecrations.
