Froedtert Malt's chairman resigns

Otto Seidenberg announced his resignation as chairman and chief executive officer of Froedtert Malt Corp. and president of SAF Products Corp. The announcement became effective September 30.

Seidenberg will assume the position of president and chief operating officer of a group of manufacturing companies headquartered in Minneapolis. The group is unrelated to the malting or yeast industry.

Until the Froedtert directors meet later this month to select a successor, Jack Wheeler, senior vice president, will assume responsibility of the company's day-to-day affairs.
