Frightfully good bid for charity funds.

A HALLOWEEN enthusiast has transformed his garden into a spooktacular crypt to raise funds for charity.

The haunted house at Bayview Court in Killiney, South Dublin, will be open to the public every night from today.

Ken Carraher has fitted the crypt with moving ghosts, goblins and skeletons, all set against a backdrop of special light effects and ghoulish sounds.

He built it to raise funds and awareness for Debra Ireland, which helps people suffering from chronic skin disease epidermolysis bullosa.

The crypt was first opened to the public 16 years ago and Ken has donated thousands of euro towards the charity.
