Freudenberg increasing filtration capacity.

Responding to a segment that has grown in leaps and bounds, Freudenberg Nonwovens, Weinheim, Germany, is again expanding its capacity for automotive interior filters. The company increased capacity to a total of five lines last year and plans to double capacity again, bringing the total to 10 filtration product lines at the Weinheim site. Freudenberg will also build a line at its Hopkinsville, KY plant, the first in the U.S. for the company. In addition, Freudenberg is investigating the Japanese market with a view toward further expansion.
