THE NEWLY OPENED LALIQUE AND HAVILAND flagship boutique on New York's Madison Avenue is the first-ever joint U.S. storefront of the recent partnership.

The 950-square-foot shop will showcase Lalique crystal and Haviland porcelain side-by-side.

"The new boutique represents the convergence of the rich legacies and creative visions of Lalique and Haviland," said Maz Zouhairi, president and chief executive officer, Lalique and Haviland, North America. "An informal partnership that originated nearly a century ago has now evolved into a joint flagship and collaboration of Lalique and Haviland designs."

Exclusive to the shop is the Lalique by Haviland Limoges porcelain collection. It encompasses three designs: the Hirondelles and the Perles designs, both offered in hill table settings with coffee and tea service sets. A third design, based on the Rene Lalique Masque de Femme includes a tray and a charger as accent pieces. The porcelain collections are complemented by Lalique tabletop items.

Also housed in the boutique will be new and classic Lalique products such as decorative pieces, architectural elements and tabletop items. A special emphasis will be placed on Lalique's architectural offerings, showcasing their ability to customize iconic items.

The boutique will offer signature Haviland porcelain collections including this season's art-deco inspired Cible, the Ritz Imperial dinnerware set and the newest encrustation and relief introductions in a new, sandy beige color.

A Chicago Lalique and Haviland showroom is scheduled to open this month.
