French Ecocert reveals buy of Indiana Certified Organic.


22 September 2011 - French environmental body Ecocert said in a statement it had bought US organic certification agency Indiana Certified Organic but did not reveal the deal price.

The deal is part of Ecocert's plan to develop its North American activities with the support of local partners. Thus the French firm will boost its business with more than 300 US customers and a local brand.
