Free week for lawyers.

NOVEMBER 12 marks the start of National Pro Bono Week, now in its sixth year - a campaign to celebrate the range and impact of pro bono activity undertaken by lawyers, often in conjunction with other professionals, giving their services for free.

This year the focus is on international pro bono and law students' involvement in pro bono projects.

Events around the country include the first Joint National Pro Bono Conference, organised and hosted by LawWorks, the Bar Pro Bono Unit and the ILEX Pro Bono Forum in association with Advice Services Alliance and supported by the Bar Council of England and Wales, the Law Society and the Institute of Legal Executives.
